What can I say about this morning apart from perfect.. It was bucketing it down with rain and yes Tara had a moment about the weather as all brides would. However the bridal party did their upmost to help Tara feel better about it all and the atmosphere was just great. When I arrived the girls were all having their hair done by the fabulous Karen Irwin who didn't stop all morning. The champagne was flowing and the breakfast had been ordered- Bagels, scrambled egg and smoked salmon. I was treated like royalty, It was great!
All the bridesmaids wanted a similar look. They were wearing dusty pink bridesmaid dresses so we decided to use a champagne colour with a subtle hint of brown. Pink lips and cheeks with sheeny looking skin.
These colours worked really well on all the girls.
The brides sister, again the colours worked well and the lashes looked fab!
Mother of the bride looking glam with lashes and soft smokey eyes.
Anne was happy for me to just do whatever I wanted. Lashes were a must of course. Looking forward to seeing Anne again for her daughters wedding next April. Looking very glam.
Well, here she is the beautiful bride to be. Using gold and bronze tones to create a smokey look without being too heavy.
Make up that will last but gives a beautiful sheen to the skin in certain lights, giving that healthy glow.
Gorgeous flowers by Andy Jennings a close friend.
Something old pinned to the bridal bouquet.
I did almost have a moment myself when I first saw her.
Tara's stunning dress is a Pronovias Le Durne from a selection at Silk's bridal near Lichfield. Having visited the girls at Silk's myself, they really are lovely and the experience in trying on the range of dresses they have is really special.
Gorgeous shoes from The Essence of Menbur.
The bridesmaids looked stunning too in their long dresses.
Mother of the bride looking fabulous and what a lovely lady. She was trying so hard to stay busy this morning. I've never been offered so many drinks.
The moment we had all been waiting for and my it was worth it!
Love this picture with the page boy.
Some of the neighbours were waiting outside to see the bride. I think one of them was also welling up when they saw how stunning she looked.
Tara all ready to leave for the church and then to the reception at Moor Hall hotel in Sutton Coldfield. This morning was emotional and beautiful. A room full of amazing, warm, friendly people to share in the excitement of Tara's big day. Wishing you both a lifetime of love and happiness and Thank you for choosing me to spend this morning with you xx
